Child Seats & Booster Seats

We offer child restraints that conform to government standards at an additional per day charge.
- Don’t forget you can inquire with your airline about bringing your personal child booster seat or child safety seat from home.
- It is your responsibility to properly install and fasten a child safety or child booster seat in any of our vehicles.
Choosing A Seat
It is your responsibility to select the correct seat to suit your needs. Most car seat manufacturers use a combination of age, height and weight to determine the correct seat type for a child.
We offer four options of restraint that comply with Florida law. Please use the following guide to make your selection and check out the Florida Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles website, for more information, before you travel.
Cradle

For infants from birth to up to 3 years old depending on size and weight. Usually installed rear facing for infants.
5 Point Harness

Usually for children from 2-7 years old, depending on size and weight, these seats have their own five point harness built in.
High Back Booster Seat

This is an additional offering for those children that may be in between a full harness and a booster, based on their size and weight.
Booster Seat

Can be used from ages 4 and up depending on size and weight.
To determine if your child is ready for a high back booster or booster seat – remember the vehicle seat belt should fit properly with the lap belt lying snugly across the upper thighs, not the stomach. The shoulder belt should lie snug across the shoulder and chest and not cross the neck or face.

This information is provided for guideline purposes. Only you know the appropriate option based on your child’s age, size and weight. If you use a booster seat at home then that is probably what you should use in Florida (even if you could, by law here, not use anything). If you change your child’s routine it may be hard for them to re-adjust when you return home.
Prices
Our seats and boosters are only $3 per day per seat – to a maximum of $30 per seat.
